Some of the ways to prepare your stallion are as follows:

• Give him exercise. A fit, healthy Stallion will have better fertility and libido than a fat, lazy stallion.
• Consider the use of Supplementary Vitamins A, D, E, and C in his diet.
• Update his Tetanus and Strangles (and Salmonella ) vaccinations.
• Worm and bot him, rasp or check his teeth and trim his hooves.
• Reassess his insurance value and status.
